Enduruc 2.2 - Live Activities
by Josh Kuehn
What’s New in Enduruc 2.2
Enduruc 2.2 makes it easier to check your stats at a glance and harder to accidentally end a workout. This release adds Live Activities on iPhone plus safer, more reliable workout controls on Apple Watch.
Live Activities on iOS
Live Activities show key metrics like elapsed time, distance, pace, and heart rate or calories burned, so you can quickly check progress at a stoplight or during a short break without interrupting your flow.
Start a ruck and your Live Activity appears automatically.
Hold to End on Apple Watch
Accidentally ending a workout is frustrating when you’re miles into a long ruck. The new “Hold to End” setting on Apple Watch adds a deliberate action to end your workout, replacing the single tap with a press-and-hold gesture.
Enable it: Open the Enduruc watch app → (scroll down to)Settings → Hold to End.
Prefer the faster single-tap behavior? You can leave it off, the feature is optional and by default not enabled.
Water Lock & Interaction Improvements
Water Lock is now available on Apple Watch. When activated, it locks the screen to prevent triggering unintentional taps from water or sweat, useful during challenging outdoor conditions or high-intensity workouts.
Additionally, the tap areas on Apple Watch control buttons have been increased, making them easier to interact with during workouts when precision can be difficult. These refinements improve the reliability of workout controls.
Thank you to everyone who continues to use Enduruc and especially those who support its development by subscribing to Enduruc Plus. Many of these improvements came from your feedback.
Update to Enduruc 2.2 to get faster glanceable stats and more reliable workout control. If the app helps your training, a quick review helps more ruckers find it.
