Enduruc 2.1 - Master Your Pace with Split Tracking

by Josh Kuehn

What’s New in Enduruc 2.1

This release brings split tracking to both iOS and Apple Watch, giving you precise control over your pacing strategy. Whether you’re training for consistency or pushing for a PR, splits help you understand exactly how each segment of your ruck performs. You’ll get real-time alerts during your workout and a detailed breakdown afterward, with automatic highlighting of your fastest and slowest segments.

This update also includes bug fixes, UI refinements, and SDK updates to keep the app running smoothly.

Split Tracking

Split tracking is now available on both iOS and Apple Watch. You can configure split intervals to match your training goals. Choose from 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, or 1.0 miles (or kilometers if you use metric units). This flexibility means you can use shorter intervals for precise pacing control on track workouts or longer intervals for distance rucks.

As you complete each split, Enduruc delivers an alert showing your split-specific metrics: distance, time, and pace. This immediate feedback helps you adjust your effort in real time, ensuring you maintain your target pace throughout the workout.

Splits Breakdown & Performance Analysis

After finishing your ruck, navigate to the workout details to see a complete splits breakdown. This view displays every split from your workout with key metrics for each segment. Enduruc automatically identifies and highlights your fastest and slowest splits, making it easy to spot where you surged or slowed down.

This analysis is invaluable for understanding your pacing strategy. Consistent splits indicate good pacing control, while significant variation might reveal where you pushed too hard early or had to compensate later. Use this data to refine your approach for future workouts.

I want to thank everyone who continues to use Enduruc and especially those who support its development by subscribing to Enduruc Plus. Your feedback drives features like split tracking, and your support makes ongoing development possible.
